Disability Dietitian Services


At Inclusive Nutrition, we strive for everyone to have access to individualised and practical dietetic support. We understand people with disability may have unique nutrition needs and may face challenges with everyday eating, swallowing difficulties, sensory processing differences, limited mobility, accessing food, and meal preparation. By adopting inclusive nutrition practices, we work together towards achieving individual goals. This could be linked to enhancing nutrient intake and food optimisation or aimed at enhancing the capacity of the individual, families and or carer(s). The goal of our support is to improve the overall quality of life for our participants. 

Our Dietitians provide assistance in various areas:

  • General nutrition 
  • Malnutrition 
  • Weight loss and fluctuations 
  • Swallowing difficulties/Dysphagia 
  • Gastrointestinal conditions/Constipation 
  • Fluid intake/Dehydration 
  • Wound healing 

  • Nutrient deficiencies 
  • Growth concerns 
  • Feeding differences (Fussy eating/ Paediatric feeding Disorder) 
  • Enteral Tube feeding (PEG/PEJ) 
  • Nutritional support (Oral Nutrition Supplements) 
  • Medication side effects 

Other NDIS Dietitian services:

 The following interventions are focused on improving the capacity of our participants and their carer(s)


  • Mealtime Management Plans (MMP)
  • Texture modified diet support 
  • Support worker team education sessions to assist with understanding nutrition information (commonly for Supported Independent Living homes)
  • Support worker and or Carer education for the safe provision of enteral feeding (PEG) including Blended Tube Feeding (commonly for Supported Independent Living homes)
  • Supermarket tours to assist with grocery shopping independently or assisted 
  • Cooking sessions
  • Personalised menu planning and development 
  • Nutrition Care Plans 
  • Personalised and or pictorial resources
  • Home Enteral Nutrition registration and renewal 
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary stakeholder meetings
